Η πλατεία Αγίων Αποστόλων, στο πλάτωμα μπροστά από την
ομώνυμη εκκλησία και στη συμβολή των οδών Αρείου Πάγου, Πολυγνώτου και
Βουλευτηρίου, ήταν γνωστή για τα πολυάριθμα καφενεία και τα, συνήθως υπόγεια,
οινομαγειρεία της. Από την πλατεία Αγίων Αποστόλων περνούσαν και πολλά παιδιά
για να πάνε στο 10ο Δημοτικό
Σχολείο της οδού Πολυγνώτου.
Agioi Apostoloi Square (Holy Apostles Square), which occupied the space in front of the homonymous church, at the junction of Areiou Pagou, Polygnotou and Vouleftiriou streets, was known for its numerous cafes and taverns (usually located in basements). Many children would pass through the square on their way to the 10th Junior School of Athens on Polygnotou Street.
