Στον Άρειο Πάγο, πάνω από την συνοικία του Βρυσακίου οι
Αθηναίοι γιορτάζουν τα Κούλουμα. Από ψηλά διακρίνονται το Θησείο και ο λόφος
του Κολωνού Αγοραίου, η οδός Ποσειδώνος, η οδός Επωνύμων, η σιδηροδρομική
γραμμή του ηλεκτρικού και η οδός Αδριανού ενώ στο βάθος υπάρχουν ελάχιστα
κτίσματα ανάμεσα στα χωράφια και τους ελαιώνες.
On the Areopagus outcrop, above the district of Vryssaki, Athenians traditionally celebrated the “Koulouma,” which marked the beginning of Lent. The view shows Thissio and the hill of Kolonos Agoraios, Poseidonos Street, Eponymon Street, the railway line and Adrianou Street, while in the background a few buildings are scattered among the fields and olive groves.
